Keane gig drama
Keane's show in Brighton was cut short on October 25, after a lighting rig crashed onto the stage. The group's concert at the Brighton Centre was just entering the encore when the piece of equipment fell behind the stage, forcing the venue to be evacuated. According to reports, Keane, who went back on the road recently following singer Tom Chaplin's spell in rehab, had been playing for around an hour and 20 minutes. "They started the encore and they had a big lighting rig on a stand which was lifted up into the gantry. It got caught on another bit of equipment and it fell over down the back of the stage. "No one got squashed or anything, but the band left the stage and an announcement was made saying everyone had to leave immediately due to health and safety," an audience member told thisisfakediy. They release a new single, "Nothing In My Way", on October 30.
